Objective: The specific objective of the RBA assignment is to assess the achievements and challenges encountered in the implementation of the Youth Development and Wellbeing Programme. This summative RBA process will be measuring achievements against the benchmark (baseline data), assessing whether the envisaged outputs have been achieved and the contribution of the organization’s activities towards the overall goal which is Youth are transformed through cross-cultural teaching and learning that will transform communities and society and enjoy optimal quality of life, are safe and well connected and develop strong and healthy relationships.

STRATEGY ON STUDENTS’ WELL-BEING AND SAFETY

Outcome 1: Youth are provided with programmes using Interest Based Learning to restore faith in learning and are coached and mentored in their individual learning plan.          

Indicators to measure success:

% Of youth who have an individual learning plan developed 

% Of youth completed their ILP and graduated

% Of youth who are empowered and upskilled and have financial security 

% Of young people in education and or training and improving betterment of their lives.

Outcome 2: Youth are empowered and can navigate and access essential practical and academic learning experiences.        

Indicators to measure success:

% Of youth can adequately navigate the education systems and access vocational and or academic learning.  

% Of youth who have increased positive learning experiences and living productive lives. 

Outcome 3: Youth are connected and have a good relationship with their whanau and their communities and are safe and well connected. 

Indicators to measure success:

# Of youth who are connected and have a positive relationship with their whanau. 

# Of families and communities impacted, transformed and supportive of youth

# Youth have care and protection and are safe and well-connected 

% of youth who demonstrate evidence of behaviour change

Output 1.  Youth will be provided with a PBL Plan suited to individual learning needs

Output 2. Youth graduate with a minimum-level foundation course.

Output 3. Youth find employment and vocational and or education pathways.

Output 4. Youth are empowered, independent individuals and give back to churches, communities and the marketplace.  

 

The final RBA report will factor in the below guiding questions:

·       To what extent have output, outcome, and goal level of programme indicators been achieved against the benchmark?

·       To what extent are youth and whanau satisfied with the results and impact of TA’s activities? 

·       What else has changed beyond what was originally planned by the design?

·       What activities and recommendations would optimize sustainable benefits in future TA programmes?
