Ps Mac Andrae

Founder and CEO / Board Chair

Mac Andrae is happily married to Lana and they have eight kids, Reuben, Israel, Darlene, Malakai, Aria, Nevaeh, Leilani-Grace and a newborn baby boy. A young Samoan man who grew up in the low decile community of Maraenui, Napier, Mac beat the odds of his demographic and geographic community, by completing high school successfully and then graduating from Victoria University Twice (in Law and Accounting). Not only does he bring with him strong business acumen, he also has a long and successful history establishing, managing and delivering health, education, social and cultural well-being services in Napier and in Auckland.

Pastor Mac Andrae is the former Executive Pastor and General Manager at Kingdomcity Church (formerly Harbourside Church) in Takapuna, Auckland for 7 years. Mac was responsible for all Business, managing a multi-million-dollar budget, overseeing staff for a church, childcare, and founding Transformation Academy in 2017. Mac oversaw an overall $60 million sale, purchase and build of a state-of-the-arc building facility with an auditorium, childcare centre, café, studios and multi-use rooms. He has also led Transformation Academy since it’s inception, including through it’s recent External Evaluation Review successful promotion to Category 2.

With the support of the Church Oversight, Ps Mac stepped out again to be full-time CEO of the newly established Private Training Establishment Transformation Academy serving to bring Transformation to individuals, communities and societies.

 

Bonnie Jackson

Board Member

Bonnie (on the right) an international development and disaster relief practitioner with experience across Africa, Asia and the Pacific. Her contribution is to support the proposal development and ensure it is sustainable and developmentally sound, with consideration for the more vulnerable groups.

Bonnie brings cross-sectoral project management experience spanning from microenterprise development through to food security and climate change adaptation and has supported a diverse range of organisations both nationally and internationally.

Relevant Formal qualifications include:

- Masters level sociolinguistics/cultural anthropology (2 years at University of Texas)

- PG Diploma in International Humanitarian Assistance (Geneva),

- PG Diploma in International Development/project management (Massey University),

- Grad Cert TEFL, (Cambridge)

- NZCS in Chemistry (AUT)


 

Pieter Watson

Board Member

Training and development has been a specialist focus for Pieter in his career. He knows the benefit and cost of focusing staff on quality in order to efficiently achieve the organisation's goals, and the role of written procedures to enable rapid learning and implementation. During Pieter's 15 years in the tertiary sector he has helped new and existing tertiary education organisations achieve success with NZQA accreditations, approvals, audits & evaluations, degree applications and monitoring, programme approvals & changes, self-assessment and external evaluation & review.

Pieter has successfully assisted several organisations with Category 1 EER outcomes, as well as TEC funding applications, Investment Plans and Single Data Return reporting. He has been the National Manager of a SAC-funded PTE that also had international students and which ran ESOL and foundation courses as well as multi-year qualifications including a Bachelors with staircasing to polytechs and international universities.

Along with quality assurance and communication within organisations, he is skilled and experienced in market analysis and marketing. He is specially interested in stakeholder engagement to ensure optimum educational outcomes that align with community aspirations as well as industry need.

For the Graduate Diploma Pieter researched quality reporting within PTEs, including how the various Student Management Systems can be used to track and report student achievement.

His special interest is how the quality focus within TEOs aligns with current NZQA emphasis on Self Assessment, and with the TEC emphasis on Education Performance Indicators. He has read and analysed hundreds of EER reports.

Pieter has a proven record of providing practical training and documentation to ensure staff are engaged with relevant measures and procedures. By identifying shared goals and streamlining reporting he has helped bring positive outcomes for many organisations.

He has run workshops on self-assessment and EER at several ITENZ conferences, including "Self assessment starts with a Y" at the September 2014 ITENZ Conference.


 

Ps Nancy Faletutulu

Board Member

Ps Nancy (on the left) and her husband co-pastor Kings House Church in Napier for 34 years.

Today, Kings House Church, home to 300 weekly, has impacted thousands of lives to pursue their God callings. As well as being a growing family of Christians, the dream includes providing refuge, well-being and learning for the region and district, birthing health, childcare and educational arms.

Nancy is passionate about coaching & empowering others. In 1999, Nancy founded what is now Kings Leadership College (KLC) from a small garage in Napier. These multi-lingual leadership and ministry training programs were distributed both nationally and internationally to equip pastors and leaders. Nancy is the General Manager of KLC which delivers to 12 campuses in New Zealand, Australia and Samoa. Over the years, 256 people have graduated, many of whom have initiated new churches, businesses and vocations worldwide. As a trained accountant, ordained minister and experienced leader, Ps Nancy adds knowledge of the church and Samoan sector as well as within an education setting that is appropriate to pacific learners.

Ulu Aiono

Ulu Aiono is a well-regarded member of the community and has been advising Transformation Academy from throughout it’s early stages. He is of Samoan descent and hugely committed to transforming young lives. Mr Aiono founded the successful software technologies company COGITA in 1983.

In 2011 he became an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business. He is Chairman of the Pacific Island Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the National Pacific Radio Trust, Chairman of the only Pacific Island PHO in Auckland and a Member of the Auckland Regional Economic Development Forum and the Auckland University of Technology Council. Mr Aiono sponsors the Inspiration Award for the annual Prime Minister's Pacific Youth Awards.

 

 

Ps Kem Price

Pastor Kem served on the National Executive of the Assemblies of God in NZ for 20 years (1983-2003) and held at different times the portfolios of Church Planting Director and Overseas Missions Director. He was Assistant General Superintendent for six years up to 2003. For 4 years from 2000, while Assistant Superintendent, he served full time for AGNZ which included Facilitator of the National Vision and again assumed the role as Overseas Missions Director.

Since July 2004 Kem has been involved in consultancy to pastors, church oversights, leadership teams, missionaries and aspiring ministers. He continues to preach in churches, seminars and conferences, and conducts leadership forums. His great passion is to spend one-on-one time with pastors and leaders.
