Nuts and Bolts

We help out-of-school youth develop their life skills and gain NZQA credits... Specifically, Level 1 and 2 NZ Certificate in Foundation Skills, including basic Literacy and Numeracy skills.

Students Learn by DOING, Learn through Experience —> Hands-On Activities, Creative Arts (Singing, Dancing, Art), Sports, Mental Models and anything fun!

Our Coaches / Mentors and Facilitators include Creative Artists, Actors, Experienced Educators who will bring the best out of YOU!

Your gifts, talents, skills, abilities and interests will be the key to catalytic change.

Anyone can transform, and anyone can be successful and your transformation will influence positive changes in families and communities!

Our Goals

• Have a lasting transformational effect on individuals that enables them to transform society through excellence in their respective skill areas,

• Provide programmes for the numerous youth who come from disadvantaged backgrounds and where for whatever reason, mainstream schooling and/or alternative education has failed them,

• Provide practical learning to hold the learner’s interest and restore their faith in their ability to learn

• Create a culture of Whānau Ora where young people can be encouraged to move toward academic excellence,

• Create a culture where young people attracted to the Transformation Academy experience good role models, mentoring and build positive peer relations

• Instil a culture of vocation, purpose and self-worth by encouraging the use of skills that are unique to the student.

• Provide contemporary learning programs that aim to advance ministry in churches, communities and the marketplace
